So I mentioned the other day that I had been hit on, something that never happens.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it happened again.
This time on my work trip but as per usual, not someone I am interested in.
For instance, the age gap is too wide. I personally don't want to date anymore than 10 years my senior.
This gentleman is.
I don't think it is wise to date someone within the same industry. Especially someone as visible as this.
I don't believe living in America's heartland and dating someone on the west coast is feasible. Especially when knowing from the beginning, neither would move.
I don't want to date anyone with children.
This gentleman has kids.
So while it is not a match its a sign. And since things happen in 3's maybe third time will be the charm.
It could be the fake boyfriend I have been waiting for....
I am with you on things happening in threes...here's to hoping! I was the same way with the age and kids thing too...I did date one man that was 11 years older, and eventually, it was too big a gap for me, and a lot of other weird tendencies from him, but I digress ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree about the age and the kids. I wouldn't write off people 9-10 years older IF I had a tremendous amount in common with them and a strong connection. BUT any older than that would be a dealbreaker automatically, and the kid thing is just not in my comfort zone at this juncture.
ReplyDeleteI DO hope that the next guy to hit on you has actual potential! It doesn't surprise me that you have been hit on lately, just wanted to tell you that you are very attractive in case you don't hear it enough. We all need to hear it sometimes!
It's definitely going to be the next guy. But hey, it's an ego boost with this one, right? ;-)
