Ugh, working from home at least you try and work at your desk! My desk is clean because I don't use it, my desk is my laptop on my lap on the couch!
My house is mess today and its making it so that I can't get anything done either! Messiness is so distracting, and I also didn't have such a delicious breakfast either so I'm jealous of that too :)
Yum! That looks delish. Did you make it? I am feeling a little overwhelmed too, trying to get caught up after traveling back last night. I'm in better shape this afternoon and even used my lunch break to get in a trip to Trader Joe's! Yum, yum ;)
Yes, I made the strata. It is super easy and do not be intimated by the recipes "total time" requirement since it factors in the minimum suggested refrigeration time of 4 hours. The most time consuming part is chopping the red peppers and the leeks. After that its just assembly. Since I am single I made it in two small pans and freeze one while the other refrigerates overnight. Then I just pop it in the oven in the morning and enjoy for the next few days. Its delicious. This time I made it with ham but I have also used sausage. Just depends on what you are in the mood for.
