Its a good thing I am single. And to my 2 male readers...you may want to skip this one!
Tonight I am sitting in bed watching soaps with white toothpaste on a zit. Feeling one step closer to cat lady.
Last week I found my first gray, actually white hair.
Where did that come from? I am only a few short days from 29. Not 79. Oh...maybe the 3 great aunts who were all completely white before 30? Genetics are a bitch.
Speaking of 29...for the first time in years I am actually acknowledging my birthday. I am actually participating in a group party. Quite the change from how I spent my birthday last year. Reading back over this I notice that I fail to mention he moved out on my birthday. More than likely I was trying to subconsciously protect him, even then.

Happy Birthday! Don't remember when I found your blog, or exactly how, but I've been following your journey! You've come a long way! 29 isn't so bad! I turned 39 last month... that feels a lot older than 29 did, but I digress... its all a state of mind. You've purged the toxicity from your life, found your voice and are acknowledging and tending to your broken heart - all hallmarks to a great life, in my opinion. There is freedom in letting go of your plans... sometime life has far more abundance and love in store for us if we let it happen and don't stranglehold it into compliance with our plans. Does that sound like it came from someone with control/planning issues? Not me, really. LOL!
